Founder & Managing Partner

OGHC was founded by Charles Omega, its Managing Partner, whose background spans health insurance advisory, medical claims and utilisation review, provider networks, corporate medical benefits and healthcare analytics. He leads the firm's work with one aim: independent, evidence-based advice that clients can put into practice.

Standards

Governance & ethical standards

  • Independence: OGHC does not underwrite insurance, act as an insurance intermediary, sell software for commission or accept payments from third parties that could bias advice.
  • Conflicts of interest are identified before engagements begin and disclosed to clients.
  • Confidentiality agreements and data processing agreements govern client information.
  • Personal data is handled in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable laws, such as the GDPR where relevant.
  • Research integrity: methods, sources and limitations are documented; findings are never fabricated or misrepresented.
  • Responsible AI: AI is used as governed decision support with human review of consequential decisions.
  • Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in all engagements and partnerships.
